This year 50 individuals from 15 different states and 16 foreign countries
participated in the one week TMD and Orofacial Pain Mini-Residency Program
at the University of Kentucky, June 6-10, 2011.

"In the summer of 2011 I spent a week in Lexington to attend a
conference about TMD and Orofacial Pain with Dr. Okeson and his
team. In the 25 years of my career as a dentist this was the first
time that I  found such a thorough and objective approach to the
topic in both a scientific  and practical way. I have attended many
lectures in this subject before and this was the one that I have
found the most interesting and useful. I have already implemented
many of your ideas and working procedures in my practice and
used them for my own lectures. I will certainly visit Lexington again
for the shadowing-programm with my daughter. Thank you Jeff and
your whole team for this incredible experience."

               Dr. Horst Kares, Saarbrücken, Germany,

"The best course about TMD and orofacial pain I have ever taken.
I recommend this mini residency to everyone interested in
evidence-based practice in TMD and Orofacial pain."

               Dr. Sopanis Cho, Indianapolis, Indiana

"Since attending this course all of my profession has changed. Dr
Okeson's mini-residency program was the best experience that I
have ever had. I would definitely recommend to all of my
colleagues that they attend this program."

Dr. Ozgur Ufuk Demir, Kocaeli Turkey

"The Orofacial Pain Mini-Residency program is an incredible
curriculum, worth every dollar. A practitioner will leave the course
with an excellent foundation for diagnosing pain modalities for their
patients. Dr. Okeson and his team are world-class educators."

Dr. Kip Etheridge, Battle Creek, Michigan

"This five day Orofacial Pain Mini-Residency has been a
continuing education program that has opened my eyes in
practicing dentistry. I feel very thankful and privileged to have had
the opportunity to learn from this group of World Class leaders in
this field. I cannot stop sharing this wonderful experience with my
colleagues after the course."

               Dr. Lawrence Lai, Calgary, Canada

"This Orofacial Pain Mini-Residency was an amazing experience
for learning TMD disorders. Dr. Okeson has a great team who
shares so much knowledge. I enjoyed it a lot!"

               Dr. Dali Valdez,  Cicero, Illinois
